Saal Dhoop is the resin of the sal tree, also known as Indiam Dammer in Sanskrit and Poe Khar in Tibetan. It is used as an astringent in Ayurvedic medicine, to cleanse negative energies, it is burned as incense in Hindu and Buddhist ceremonies. By burning this incense they believe it purifies the ozone layer.
